About MeMy name is Aidan Gibson, a Technology Education teacher and emerging instructional designer with a degree and certification in Technology Education and one year of full time classroom experience. In that time I have taught eight different courses spanning engineering, architecture, video production, animation, and innovation, developing a broad content knowledge base and a deep understanding of how students learn technical and creative skills at varying levels of readiness. My classroom experience has given me hands on expertise in breaking down complex, advanced software into accessible and engaging learning experiences, guiding students from complete beginners to confident independent users of industry level tools. My strengths lie in curriculum development, learning experience design, and the ability to translate technically demanding content into instruction that is clear, engaging, and appropriately scaffolded for diverse learners. I am passionate about designing learning experiences that do not just deliver information but genuinely build capability, and I bring that same philosophy to every instructional design project I take on. At 23 years old I am early in my career but have already developed a teaching and design practice grounded in real classroom experience, a growing command of instructional design frameworks, and a drive to keep pushing the quality of every learning experience I create.

My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that the best learning experiences are built around the learner, not the content. Instruction should never be a one size fits all delivery of information but rather a thoughtfully crafted experience that meets learners where they are, challenges them at the right level, and gives them the tools to grow beyond what they thought they were capable of.
